Rhonda definitely has the expertise and encouragement to help her patients meet their recovery goals, whatever they may be. She is friendly, and truly cares about her patients. As an athlete herself, she understands how determined we can be to get back to doing the things we love, as quickly as possible. Rhonda guides you through your rehab routine, with just the right amount of reps and frequency to restore your range of motion and strength. She also introduced me to water therapy which helped a great deal.
I had a double knee replacement on Sept 8, 2016. I had two main goals, the first one was to drive to California for an extended weekend square dance festival. I made that [goal], dancing all the sessions (around 20 hours of dancing).
Goal second was to ski on my 70th birthday at five months post-op, which I beat by a month. I was skiing in early January on expert runs, moguls and trees, four days in a row without pain. None of this would have been possible without a successful surgery, and Rhonda and her team’s rehab assistance. (Of course, I had to work hard too.)
